Tierra and Patrick’s story started with a bit of serendipity in Wilmington, North Carolina. A birthday dinner, a shared group of friends, and a casual party turned into something real. They were introduced through mutual friends Kate and Matt, and after just one conversation at a graduation celebration, they knew there was something worth exploring. They exchanged numbers, started dating a few weeks later, and haven’t looked back since!
Patrick proposed on a hot August day in New Jersey, taking Tierra on a nostalgic tour of places from his childhood. They climbed to the top of the Twin Lights Lighthouse in Highlands, NJ, and then wandered to a place his friends had long called “Heaven.” As Tierra turned to walk back, Patrick dropped to one knee. No big crowd, no theatrics. Just the two of them and a moment that felt honest and perfectly them.
Tucked along the Navesink River, The Molly Pitcher Inn was the perfect backdrop for Tierra and Patrick’s summer wedding day. The morning began quietly, with Tierra and her girls getting ready in one of the suites — soft natural light spilled in as she slipped into her classic white gown. Her makeup was timeless, her accessories simple and elegant. One photo captured Tierra adjusting her earring with a soft smile, the calm before the celebration.
With the Navesink River glinting behind them, Tierra and Patrick said “I do” in front of their closest family and friends. Patrick, the only boy among five siblings, stood tall surrounded by family, including his beautiful daughter. Tierra’s stepbrothers and their wives were there, too — family and chosen family all blended together in celebration. The weather was perfect — blue skies, a breeze off the water, and nothing but smiles as Tierra walked down the aisle with her proud grandfather. Guests looked on with joy as the two exchanged vows and made it official.
The reception space inside the Molly Pitcher was elegant but warm — white linens, classic centerpieces, and a joyful energy that kept the dance floor packed.
One thing Tierra and Patrick couldn’t stop talking about? The photo booth. Their guests couldn’t get enough of it, and it turned into one of the best surprises of the night. The speeches were heartfelt, the weather was perfect to relax on the patio, and the late-night dancing? Unforgettable.
“Do whatever you want to do without overthinking what others will think,” Tierra shared. “It’s your day — enjoy it.” And honestly, their day was a great reminder that the best weddings are the ones that feel true to the couple.
Tierra said it best: “Nicole, you truly were amazing. It’s obvious you love what you do and we couldn’t be any more grateful for all your hard work capturing our day. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” From helping keep things running smoothly, to quietly capturing the most meaningful moments, our NKP team was honored to be part of this day.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding with waterfront views, timeless charm, and a space that flows effortlessly from ceremony to celebration, The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank is a gem. And if you’re lucky enough to celebrate like Tierra and Patrick did—with love, laughter, and a little photo booth magic—you’re in for something special.
